ADJUSTMENTS

The term "adjustment" refers to the specific manipulation chiropractors apply to vertebrae that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. Adjustment techniques can also be applied to any other joint in the body including, but not limited to knees, elbows, wrists, etc. The objective of chiropractic is to reduce the subluxation, which results in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability and improved function.

Dr. Daney uses the Gonstead Technique. It is a specific method of chiropractic. The whole spine is examined but only areas that are found to be a problem are adjusted.
